Memorial Day weekend has come and gone and summer is right around the corner. The pools have opened, the schools have closed and everyone is ready for some summer fun.

Baseball became popular in this country in the early 19th century when many sources report the growing popularity of a game called “townball”, “base” or “baseball”.
