When I think of Wonder Woman, I think of Lynda Carter in that amazing form-fitting costume from the television series that aired for three seasons from 1975 – 1979. I’m pretty sure at one point or another every one of my friends have gone to a Halloween party dressed in a Wonder Woman costume. Believe me, between the sexy costume, gold tiara and thigh-high boots, it’s one outfit that’s sure to get you noticed!
Wonder Woman is by far the most recognizable female super hero ever! With her trademark star spangled costume of red, white and blue along with her infamous golden lasso, it’s no surprise she is the most successful female superhero of all time!

He wanted a female superhero to even out the sexes with Captain America on the battlefield and by creating Wonder Woman he did just that.
Wonder Woman is one of the founding members of the Justice League of America in the DC Comic Universe along with Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter. Pretty cool that she’s the ONLY female among that list! Later DC Comics brought on some more female superheroes, but none that could ever compare in popularity to the one and only, Wonder Woman!
